MY JOURNEY OF LEARNING ENGLISH —— 高中英语学习经验分享演讲稿 副标题:From exam scores to real English literacy ================================================================ 第 1 页 · 封面与开场 主讲 · 约 40 秒 ================================================================ Good morning, dear teachers and classmates. It is my great honor to come back to our high school and share my English learning journey with you. English is not only a required subject. It is a window to the world. Today I will talk about three things: the problems I had, the methods that actually helped me, and how English can become more than an exam. 【停一拍】 今天不讲空话,也不卖焦虑。就讲我踩过的坑、真正有用的方法,以及怎么让 英语不只是考试科目。 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 2 页 · 小组名单 场控 · 约 20 秒 ================================================================ Before we start, let me introduce our team. Our host is 陈可欣. Our main speaker is 林致远. Our five readers are 苏晓航, 周予安, 许嘉宁, 顾言舟 and 唐若溪. They will cover listening, reading, cloze, grammar, writing, vocabulary and English outside the exam. 【提醒:姓名是占位,正式名单替换后再念;只报角色和负责页,不逐页念页码。】 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 3 页 · 互动一:8 题自查 场控 · 约 50 秒 + 等待 1 分钟 ================================================================ First, a one-minute self-check. Scan the QR code on the screen. Eight statements. No right answers. Nothing is uploaded. The result stays on your phone. 【中文口令,放慢】 扫码,点“开始自查”。八道题,一分钟。1 表示完全不像我,5 表示非常像我。 答完先别关页面,等会儿我会请符合条件的同学举手。 While you answer, think about one question: which moment in an English exam makes you panic? Listening? Reading? Cloze? Grammar? Writing? 【停两秒,环视教室】 Keep that moment in mind. We will come back to it. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 4 页 · 我的困难 主讲 · 约 60 秒 ================================================================ When I started learning English, I had five problems. Listening: one lost minute, and the whole passage collapsed. Reading and seven-choose-five: I was slow, so time always ran out. Cloze: I missed the story, and then wrong answers snowballed. Word forms: I knew the word, but I could not write the right form. Writing: the prompt was there, but the first sentence was not. 【停一拍】 Later I understood: most of these were not proof that I was bad at English. They were problems of method, accumulation and review. Vocabulary is the root. But memorising a word list alone is not enough. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 5 页 · 考试地图 主讲 · 约 50 秒 ================================================================ Here is the basic map. One hundred and fifty points, one hundred and twenty minutes. Listening, thirty. Reading A to D, thirty-seven point five. Seven-choose-five, twelve point five. Cloze, fifteen. Grammar fill-in, fifteen. Writing, forty — fifteen for the short piece and twenty-five for continuation writing. 【指屏幕】 Different regions use different formats and marks, so check your local paper. We are not talking about primary or middle school today. We are focusing on high school: exam skills on one side, real English literacy on the other. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 6 页 · 听力 念稿人1 · 约 70 秒 ================================================================ Listening is not about catching every word. It is about not being stopped by a few blurred words. Here is what worked for me. First, listen. Do not translate while the audio is running. If you translate, your attention splits, and the next sentence is already gone. Second, read the transcript after every practice set. Mark the words you did not recognise, and mark linking and weak forms. 【中文补充】 文本里那些“好像听过、但没反应过来”的词,就是你觉得这篇很难的罪魁祸首。 Third, shadow the audio for fifteen to twenty minutes a day. Copy the rhythm, not just the words. Fifteen minutes every day beats one long session before the exam. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 7 页 · 阅读 念稿人1 · 约 60 秒 ================================================================ Reading: accuracy first, speed second. Do not chase the clock on day one. Get the answers right first, then add a time limit. When a sentence is long, split it: find the subject, the verb and the object; then find the connectors and the modifiers. For every wrong answer, go back to the passage and locate the evidence. Ask yourself: did I misread it, did a distractor fool me, or did I simply run out of time? 【中文补充】 三种错法对应三种改法。复盘十篇,强过囫囵刷三十篇。 Review is what turns quantity into quality. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 8 页 · 完形 念稿人2 · 约 70 秒 ================================================================ Cloze: two passes, one story. First pass, read the whole passage. Get the plot and the feeling. Do not stop at every blank. Second pass, fill each blank with grammar and context, not with a gut feeling. 【中文补充,重点】 完形大多是故事,很考验共情:人物为什么这么做,情绪怎么变。理解不到位, 才会一个错接着一个错。 大型考试里,ABCD 选项常见 4:4:4:3 的比例。但这是经验规律,不是官方规定, 也不是蒙题口诀。它的正确用法是:做完以后检查一下分布;如果某个选项特别 离谱,提醒自己回文章,而不是靠比例选答案。 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 9 页 · 语法填空 念稿人3 · 约 70 秒 ================================================================ Grammar fill-in looks technical, but it starts with one question: what part of speech is missing? Noun, verb, adjective, adverb, pronoun, conjunction or article. Decide that first. Then decide the form: plural, tense, voice, comparison or non-finite. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 10 页 · 写作 念稿人4 · 约 60 秒 ================================================================ Writing: outline first, direction first. Spend two minutes on a three-line outline: beginning, middle, end. Your ideas will be much clearer when you write. For continuation writing, choose the direction before you write a word. Without a direction, the story drifts. One hundred and fifty words, two paragraphs. Do not go over the limit. Templates are a floor, not a script. Learn the patterns for action, emotion and setting, then adapt them to the prompt. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 11 页 · 背词法 念稿人4 · 约 60 秒 ================================================================ Vocabulary: do not start from “abandon” every time. Collect the unknown words from your papers and practice sets. Put them into groups of two hundred. 【中文补充】 基础弱的同学可以把 200 减到 100 或 50。关键不是一次背多少,而是循环和复盘。 One group, seven days, continuous cycling. Review after you forget. Keep a separate list of words that keep slipping away, and give them a final sprint in the two weeks before the exam. If you miss a word three times, treat it as a hard word and give it extra attention. Context matters too: a word learned in a sentence stays longer than a word learned alone. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 12 页 · 英语素养 念稿人5 · 约 60 秒 ================================================================ English outside the exam. Listen to songs you actually like, and sing along. You learn melody, phrasing and rhythm at the same time. Watch short films with clear dialogue. Listen for the situation first; you do not need every word. 【指右侧海报】 This is “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”. Clear dialogue, fast rhythm. It is good listening practice, not a magic pill. 【中文补充】 看电影不是任务,别一边看一边查词。先跟住情节,第二遍再挑几句跟读。 Most importantly, accept English. Five minutes a day beats one long cram. English does not end when the exam ends. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 13 页 · 问卷结果与举手 场控 · 约 2 分钟 ================================================================ Now let us look at the room. 【中文口令】 看你的结果页。最大痛点是听力的,举手。 最大痛点是阅读或七选五的,举手。 最大痛点是完形、语法或写作的,举手。 再看最薄弱的习惯:不复盘的、不限时的、不列提纲的,分别举手。 【点两位同学】 Could you read one line of your result aloud? 【中文补充】 这是自查,不是诊断。分数高不代表没救,只说明这一项现在最值得先改。 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 14 页 · 互动二:技巧抢答 场控 · 约 50 秒 + 等待 3 分钟 ================================================================ One more interaction. This one is about the methods we just covered. 【中文口令】 现在扫码,页面别关。题目会在开始时间自动解锁。每题只能答一次,答完把屏幕 给场控看。 【确认二维码旁已显示开始时间】 The question unlocks at the start time. Tap once. Correct and fastest wins. 【倒计时结束,读题;每题给 20 秒】 Question one: in cloze, what should you do first? Question two: in continuation writing, what is the first step? Question three: in grammar fill-in, what do you decide first? 【请前五名举手,现场记名次】 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 15 页 · 四条建议与寄语 主讲 · 约 60 秒 ================================================================ Before we finish, four things I wish I had known earlier. First, practise a little every day. Cramming is not a plan. Second, feed yourself real English, not only textbook exercises. Third, speak and write before you feel ready. Mistakes are data, not verdicts. Fourth, make English part of your life, not just your timetable. 【停一拍,放慢】 “Patience is the key to life.” 耐心是生活的关键。高考结束,不等于英语学习结束;那只是你开始真正用英语看 世界的起点。 Thank you. 【示意翻页】 ================================================================ 第 16 页 · 致谢与问答 主讲 · Q&A 环节 ================================================================ That is our presentation. Thank you for listening. If you have any questions — in English or in Chinese — we are happy to answer. 【全员站定,分工表投屏】 【冷场备用:No questions? Then let me ask you one — what is your biggest pain point after today?】 7. 海报显示不出来: - 确认 spider-man-poster.avif 与 presentation.html 在同一目录。
